Building a Comprehensive Drone Image Dataset to Train Artificial Intelligence for Disaster Damage Detection
This project is about using AI and drone images to detect building damage after natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes. We created and labeled a drone image dataset and trained an AI model to classify different levels of damage. The goal of this project is to make disaster assessment faster, safer, and more accurate compared to traditional inspection methods.
